KEXINT series MTP fiber cassette modules offer 12-fiber MTP adapter on the rear of the units routed to duplex LC adapters on the front patch field, which interconnect with high density fiber cable assemblies for multiple applications.
The MTP-12 cassette enables high-density, cost-effective 10G deployments and the simplest migration to 40G, 100G, and even 400G. The cassette allows 48 fiber connections to be deployed in the KEXINT series rack unit (1 RU).
Fiber optic cassettes snap quickly into the enclosures and modular design makes it easier to deploy or expand your infrastructure as your future network speed rates grow.

Q:
What does the optical cable assembly look like in the cassette?
by B***e on 17/10/2023
The MTP/MPO cassette contains a 12/24-core MPO/MTP direct fan-out optical cable assembly. One end of the optical cable is pre-terminated with an MPO/MTP connector, and the other end is pre-terminated with SC and LC connectors.
Can you please tell me about the usage of the 12-fiber cassette, what kind of trunk cable can be used with?
by D***d on 17/10/2023
Hello, there are 3 methods, firstly, the fiber cassette is A, trunk cable is type-A, fiber cassette is type A, then fiber cassette is A, trunk cable is typeA, fiber cassette is AF, and fiber cassette is A, trunk cable is typeC, fiber cassette is A, the last one is fiber cassette is A, trunk cable is typeB, fiber cassette is A.
Q:Can your 1MTP OM4A work with my server and switch? The problem is that I don't know the model of my server and switch
by B***m on 14/05/2022
Hi, this cassette is generally used with enclosures. You can refer to the detailed diagram on their website. It is mainly used to connect fiber jumpers and has nothing to do with switches and servers.
I placed an order for 2 MTP fibres and the respective cassettes, if I need the direct pin to pin I'd just stick to the Type A cassettes on both ends, right? We'll be using simplex fibres at the ends, so we want pin 1 to be the same on both ends. Our MTP cables and the cassettes are all type A, I think that's correct. I want to confirm if type A on both ends will be fine?
Yes, the type A MTP cable on both ends is correct. The two type A cassettes are connected by a type A MTP cable and elicit with the simplex cables, which can meet your needs of direct pin to pin.
