This product is an Optical Fiber Mechanical Splice, which is also called a drop cable fast connector, which can be used for the fiber optic indoor 2*3 mm fig 8 butterfly shape drop cable field cold junction. With the fixed buckle, the protecting housing, and the optical fiber connection module, it can be an ideal tool for drop cable connection and maintenance.

Components:
The product is composed of a splice core (V-groove inside), a holding base, a protective housing, and two fixing buckles. The splice core is used for splicing the optical fiber of two drop cables, and the other components are used for fixing and protecting the splice.
 
Using Scene:
This product is used for splicing two drop cables (2.0*3.0mm indoor drop cable), as you can see in the below picture, the optical fiber is aligned with the help of a V-groove in the splice core. Just cover the housing, it will be a convenient and stable connection in the FTTH work.
 
Accessories:
We also sent this fixed-length cutting jig, this tool has two functions, its upper side can be a fixed-length tool which can help when cutting optical fiber. And its downside can be a simple optical fiber stripper which can help stripping the optical fiber in the drop cable. We usually send 1 pcs fixed length cutting jig when you purchase every 50 pcs mechanical splice.
 
Package:
This product, usually 5pcs in a plastic bag, the splice core is inserted into the holding base, they are together with the
protecting housing, and the 10pcs fixing buckles are in a smaller bag.
