Q:Can the blue OS2 UPC adaper panel be connected to the OS2 APC patch cable?

A:Yes, It is Zirconia Ceramic Sleeves inside the adaper, you can connect it if you want. But make sure that the cables at both ends of the adapter are the same, I generally do not recommend using it in this way because of the inconsistent color.

Q:How does a 1U enclosure hold up to 144 LC/SC? Am I right the connection is 36 fibers panel with 1U enclosure?

I think you are right. My enclosure I bought have four port, and 4x36 is the maximum number of fibers of 1U space. But if you match the SC panel, the maximum number of fibers is 48, because the SC panel on their website is 12 fibers
