Q:Can 9/125 and 8.3/125 jumpers be used together? Is there a big difference between them?
A:8.3 and 9 refer to the fiber diameter of the fiber jumper, and 125 is the diameter of the jumper. The single-mode optical fiber provided by FS is 9/125, which is in line with international standards, and 8.3/125 is non-standard. If the two are used together, theoretically there will be light leakage and the loss will be relatively large, so it is not recommended to use them together.
