The structure of GYFDZY (non-metallic reinforcing member, optical fiber ribbon loose-layer twisted semi-dry, low-smoke halogen-free flame retardant polyolefin bonding sheathed outdoor optical cable for communication) optical cable is to sleeve single-mode optical fiber ribbon into a high-modulus fiber optic cable. In the loose tube made of plastic, the loose tube is filled with fiber paste. At the center of the cable core is a non-metallic reinforcing core, possibly extruded with a layer of polyethylene (PE). The loose tube (and filling rope) is twisted around the central reinforcing core to form a compact and round cable core, and the outer cable core is longitudinally wrapped with a water-blocking tape, and then a low-smoke halogen-free flame retardant polyolefin sheath is extruded.
Loose tube construction, tubes jelly filled, elements (tubes and filler rods when necessary) and water blocking yarns laid up around non-metallic central strength member(with cushion when necessary), polyester yarns used to bind the cable core, filling rod filled in the apertures of the cable core, then water blocking tape and PE outer sheath with FRP reinforcing member.
Fiber color code
Fiber color in each tube starts from No. 1 Blue.
